Carnival Cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico 2019

Our family went on a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico.  We were on the Carnival Cruise Inspiration.  We rented a small boat, we went zip lining at Las Canadas.  If you are considering this cruise from Long Beach, I would highly recommend it.  We also had a fun table performer which did magic for us.

Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis CT Scan from Start to Finish

This is a video of my CT Scan. It is a Chest, Abdomen and Pelvis scan. If you are worried about getting this CT Scan, watch this video. This is a view from the other side of the scanner. I wanted to show that it is nice and open and is not claustrophobic. The contrast that you drink really isn't that bad. One type is Barium and the other type is Isovue. I like the Isovue drink better because I can put in some flavoring that makes it taste better. The barium always felt chalky to me so I don't us that type of contrast drink. The contrast that they put in an IV has never effected me at all except for making me feel warm all over for about 5 seconds.

Recipe
Ingredients:
1 medium celery root, or 3-4 celery branches
2 small or 1 large leek
2 medium onions
Garlic to taste (may also be squeezed raw into the hot soup, instead of cooking it)
1 Tablespoon of parsley
1-1.5 lb tomatoes
1 lb potatoes
Wash and scrub the vegetables and cut into slices of 1/2” cubes.
Put in a large pot, add enough water to just cover them. Bring to the boil. Simmer on a low heat for 1.5 – 2 hours, until all vegetables are soft.
Blend well, removing any fibers.
